All of Damascus and Shana’s friends were starting to feel unsettled and said that it was time they headed off. However, Damascus said you all go on ahead I’m going to stay just a little bit longer. So they all left including Shana. Later on it was becoming late in the evening. Damascus thought she better start heading off also. As, she collected her things. She felt like she was the last one left and failed to notice where the hell everybody else went. As, she was about to exit. She realised the door was locked. She panicked and thumped on the glass door and thought it may have been an honest mistake. So she went and searched the library and found absolutely no one.
She screamed and panicked and hoped somebody would hear her. She tried to call home from her hand held set. But unusually there was no dial tone and then she tried the public phone inside the library as there were many and none of them had a dial tone.
She started panicking and thought if I have to spend the night in here I will but I’m going to get out of here! She felt like she was going to kill somebody! But there was no way out! At night the lights went out and she found some candles and had to let the candles burn. Security cameras were down also. Electricity died. She found a laptop and unusually it worked. However she could only browse locally which was only the information on what the library had internally about the library. Then an icon flashed and she saw an advertisement window open on her computer with the slogan saying. ‘Get out of the library! Now!’ She became scared and didn’t know from where or who that came from?
The Sun disappeared completely and then she knew she was abandoned taken from the world as the next morning never approached and the night continued forever.
